Steubenville San Diego
August 1-3, 2025
At the University of San Diego (USD)
Youth participants must be age 18 or younger and incoming freshmen through just graduated seniors.
Please assist your teen son or daughter to complete the following sign up if they are interested in attending the conference. I'd really like for the teens to tell me why they want to attend the conference so that they are choosing this conference for themselves. There's a space in the sign up for them to do this.
Once we get a significant interest group together (at least 15 teens), I'll sign Santa Sophia Parish up for the conference.
Once I've reserved spaces for our teens, we'll begin the paperwork and payment collection.
The down payment is $50 for each person. The remaining balance is $185.
The total payment is $235, and you can pay all at once if you like. It will be $250 if you pay after March 17.
We will not accept registrations or payments after June 30th.
We will not be sleeping over at the conference venue. Parents will be responsible for getting their teens to and from the conference on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We can talk about coordinating carpools to and from Santa Sophia parking lot to facilitate with this transportation element.
The conference registration includes a t-shirt and meals (except breakfast).
We will need 1 adult chaperone (21+) for every 8 teens, so parents, please be open to being a chaperone. We'll need your help to make this happen. Chaperones must be gender-specific (i.e. if 4 girls and 2 boys are attending, there must be at least 1 female AND 1 male chaperone).
Cost for chaperones to attend is the same as youth.
There will be a parish registration form and liability waiver, AND a conference registration form. We'll work on these after the interest group is formed.
The conference offers 2 scholarships per parish. I will share the link for this once our interest group is formed.
I'm open to having the parish help families to pay for a portion of the conference in exchange for stewardship (for example, participating in parish life through service projects, liturgical ministries, serving as catechists, etc.)
