Year of St. Joseph At Santa Sophia (March 9, 2021)

(March 9, 2021): During the Year of St. Joseph, as a parish community, Santa Sophia has planned many activities. Some of the activities that we have carried out to date, have been for all Ministries and groups to open all meetings with the Prayer to St. Joseph. The Litany of St. Joseph can be found on the Santa Sophia website. Coloring pages of the Holy Family have been sent out to our Religious Education students, along with fun crossword pages which focus on St. Joseph. We have printed many articles within our Bulletin, highlighting the life of St. Joseph including the plenary indulgences everyone can receive by participating in this Year of St. Joseph. We have many activities planned for the rest of this year, including a St. Joseph Table to commemorate the Feast day of St. Joseph on March 19, we encourage families to create their own St. Joseph table and home enshrinement to this wonderful Saint. Next month we will be speaking about the “Sleeping St. Joseph.” As Pope Francis has reminded us, let us try to grow in our devotion to St. Joseph, implore his intercession, and imitate his virtues during the year devoted to St. Joseph. We encourage you to watch and read all the upcoming news regarding this wonderful year, dedicated to St. Joseph.
