The Santa Sophia Community for Life meets the first Sunday of each month at 9:30 AM in the Church Conference Room.

Mission and Purpose

We are an action-oriented group supporting initiatives that promote traditional marriage, parental notification, and an end to abortion and euthanasia (dignity of life).  Members participate in “Life Chain” and “walk” events, as well as praying at abortion clinics for a change of heart. We also fundraise and solicit donations for Catholic Charities, East County Pregnancy Center, Birthline (in Chula Vista and Clairemont) and other ‘support life’ organizations.
