Eugene Ethridge Passes Away

Eugene Arthur Ethridge was born in San Diego, California to father, Raymond Arthur Ethridge and mother, Gwendolyn Ann Sheppard on March 6, 1971.

Eugene attended Horace Mann Middle School. He played Pop Warner football for Los Torres, where he excelled and to date holds the record for the most touchdowns and yardage from scrimmages. Eugene started at Crawford High School in San Diego where he continued to play football and lettered in Track and Field for his freshman and sophomore years.

He then transferred to Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, California where he ran himself into the Hall of Fame as Mount Miguel’s all-time leading rusher.

Eugene received a scholarship to Weber State where he played college football and became a dedicated, confident, passionate, and humbled athlete.

Eugene started working at 24 Hr. Fitness in 1997 and worked there until 2009. It was there he met his wife, Kathryn, and they later married on February 17, 2001.

Later he decided to further his education at University of Phoenix in Psychology. This led him to be an Entrepreneur in the Spirits Industry, where he and a partner began a start-up business in the tequila industry.

Brothers, Raymond Arthur Ethridge, Teneil Arthur Ethridge, Rayneil Arthur Ethridge, Jamill Arthur Ethridge and Jelani Harris and Patrick Maull.

And Sisters, Raeana Lenice Ethridge and Meisha Moore

There will be a Funeral Mass for Eugene at Santa Sophia Parish, 9800 San Juan Street, Spring Valley on Thursday March 22nd at 10:00 AM.
