Christopher Di Bella was born December 18, 1966, of the parents of Shirley and the late Tony Di Bella. He is the second oldest of five boys in the family. He was born in La Mesa Hospital and lived all of his life in Spring Valley, Ca.
Christopher’s great love was to travel to the mountains and visit the lakes, rivers and go camping. He grew up learning the trade of carpet laying from his father.
As a past time Chris liked building different wood projects, he was very successful in building his own motor boat and kayak, which he entered into the arts and crafts division of the San Diego County Fair. Chris would also spend his time riding to the beach on his electric bike which he had built.
We would see Chris coming to Mass at Santa Sophia Catholic Church in Casa de Oro in the morning and he would also go to bible study.
He was very interested in politics and the history of our country. He was a very gentle and caring soul who spent a lot of time with his mother when she was in need of help during illnesses.
As stated by his brothers, Chris was quite the genius and “this world is a lesser place now without him”.
His Funeral will be at Santa Sophia in the De Moor Room on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM
