CDA Taco Lenten Fish Dinner a Success

The Catholic Daughters’ annual Mexican Taco Lenten fish dinner was a success, with the CDA raising over $1000. The group credits God’s blessing and the many Catholic Daughter and Junior Catholic Daughter hands that generously participated.  They did most of the prep work at the monthly meeting.

They wish to thank everyone who donated food with salsa, beans, rice, cakes, salad and the free produce and fish from Wrigley’s Market in National City and everyone’s support and input from set-up, cooking, serving and clean-up.  Jim Marston from the KofC was instrumental in delivery of the food, frying the fish and cleaning the fryer.

Thank you Jim and to all the Knights who helped out that evening.

Be sure and attend the 2018 event next year.
