Rose Mary Roscoe Passes Away at Age 85

ROSE MARY RUDOWSKY-TOMLANOVICH-ROSCOE passed away on January 13, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 85. Rose Mary was born on March 2, 1932 in Whitaker, PA. and moved to San Diego in 1961 where she lived until most recently.

Rose Mary worked for Pacific Telephone Co. for 30 years. Upon retirement she took up the game of golf and traveled most of the country. An active member of the El Cajon Elks 1812, Rose Mary enjoyed the many activities available at the Lodge including weekly golf outings with the Elkonette’s, darts with her friends and dinners with family.

She also found time to knit and make sweaters and various items for family and friends. Sold meat and seafood and ran her own decorating company called Rose Mary’s Interiors.

Her two most favorite activities were going to the Bingo and playing Bunco with her friends.

She is survived by her two sons George Tomlanovich of Tucson, AZ. and Rick Roscoe of La Mesa, CA. her daughter-in-law Kathy Tomlanovich of Tucson, granddaughter Cheryl Tomlanovich of San Diego, CA. grandson Jimmy Tomlanovich of Tucson, granddaughter-in-law Arriana Tomlanovich of Tucson, 3 Great grandchildren Kostandino, Sotirio, and Persephone Tomlanovich of Tucson.

A viewing will be held at Featheringill Mortuary 6322 El Cajon Blvd. San Diego, CA. 92115 on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will begin on Friday February 2, 2018 at Santa Sophia Church, 9800 San Juan St. Spring Valley, Ca. 91977 with a Rosary starting at 12:30pm. Followed by a Mass beginning at 1:00pm.

Immediately following the Mass at 2:00pm will be the procession to Holy Cross Cemetery for burial.

After burial services a Celebration of Life Reception will follow and be held at Santa Sophia Church starting at 3:00pm – 6:00pm in the DeMoor Hall.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Rose Mary’s name.
