The mission of the Youth Ministry is to help young people encounter the Love of God and become life-long Disciples of Christ. We will achieve this by Practicing our faith, Building healthy relationships, Learning leadership skills and Serving the community.
Weekly Youth Nights
Youth Night is an opportunity for you to grow in faith and community with fellow young people from all over the county. We pray together, play games, watch movies, listen to music, all around just have fun. You are invited to stop by for some food and fun as we explore our Catholic Faith together.
Saturdays at 5:30 pm
Our High School Youth Night is open to Teens ages 14 to 18. Youth Nights are held every Saturday of the month from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm in the CMO Youth Room. Bring a friend and expect to have some fun!!!
Our Middle School and Junior High Youth Night is open to children ages 10 to 13. Jr High Youth Nights are held on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm in the CMO Youth Room. The Jr High knows how to party, so better bring you’re A game.
We attend Reconciliation as a group then we head over to the kitchen in the CMO to make our own Pizza. Santa Sophia holds Confession every Wednesday at 4:30 pm. Our Pizzas are amazing so be sure to bring your favorite topping to share with everyone.

High School Penance and Pizza is the third Wednesday at 4:30 pm
On the Third Saturday of every month, is our Youth Mass. We attend Mass at 4:30pm as a group, we like to sit up front as a group. Afterwards we host our Supper Saturday. This is a special High School Youth Night where we sit down to a home cooked dinner as a Family. We share stories of our joys and our struggles, then retire to a fun evening of games and music.

Ask a Priest Q&A
October 21st – 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a priest? Do you have questions about the priesthood? Well look no further, Santa Sophia is hosting its very first Priest Q&A. Three priests from around the Diocese have been invited to answer questions you may have about the Priesthood. Snacks and Refreshment will be provided, so invite your friends.
Advent Worship Service
December 2nd – 4:30pm to 9:30pm
The Youth Group is going to kick off Advent with a powerful and motivating Worship Service. Join us as we celebrate Mass together as a family, then head over to the DeMoor Room for Dinner and a dynamic talk by one of our very own. Afterwards we will return to the Church for Adoration and live Music provided by our very own Suzanne Kennedy. Join us as we celebrate together with the Holy Spirit the coming of our Lord.
Are you interested in Volunteering for our Activities? – On the first and third Mondays of each month we hold a Leadership Meeting to plan out the upcoming activities. All Teens and Parents are invited to attend and offer their input. Snacks and refreshments are provided.
