SANTA SOPHIA YOUTH MINISTRY SEEKS TO EMPOWER THE YOUTH TO BECOME LIFE-LONG DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, THROUGH ENERGETIC PRAISE AND WORSHIP, DYNAMIC FAITH-FILLED PROGRAMS, SPIRITUALLY ROOTED PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS AND A FERVENT CELEBRATION OF THE SACRAMENTS, PREEMINENTLY THE EUCHARIST. WE ASPIRE TO BECOME LEADERS IN OUR COMMUNITY AS WE ARE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GROW IN OUR FAITH AND SPREAD THE GOSPEL TO ALL WHOM WE ENCOUNTER.

It’s Easy!!! All you have to do is print and complete the Parental Consent Form and bring it with you to the next meeting.
When are Youth Nights?
A Youth Night is an opportunity for you to grow in faith and community with fellow young people from all over the county. We pray together, play games, watch movies, listen to music, all around just have fun. You are invited to stop by for some food and fun as we explore our Catholic Faith together.
Fridays at 5:30 pm — Our Junior High Youth Night is open to children ages 10 to 13 (7th and 8th Grades). Jr High Youth Nights are held in the Youth Room. The Jr High knows how to party, so better bring your A game.
Saturdays at 5:30 PM — Our High School Youth Night is open to Teens ages 14 to 18 (9th through 12th grades). Youth Nights are held in the CMO Youth Room. Bring a friend and expect to have some fun!!!
On the Third Saturday of every month, is our Youth Mass. It is hosted and ran by the Youth at Santa Sophia. We attend Mass at 4:30pm as a group, we like to sit up front as a group. Afterwards we host our Supper Saturday. This is a special High School Youth Night where we sit down to a home cooked dinner as a Family. We share stories of our joys and our struggles, then retire to a fun evening of games and music. We are always looking for Greeters, Lectors, Ushers, and Singers.
Parents if you would like to volunteer to cook for our teens on Supper Saturday, please contact Daniel at email@example.com
Are you interested in joining our Leadership Team? – On the first Monday of each month we hold a Leadership Meeting to plan out the upcoming activities. All Teens are invited to attend and offer their input. Snacks and refreshments are provided. See our handbook below.
Our Parents Advisory Meeting is held on the third Monday of each month. This meeting is closed off to the teens so that the Parents can get a glimpse at our program and offer their support and opinions. Wine and Cheese will be provided.
