We just began the holy season of Lent. Lent is primarily a time of intense spiritual preparation for conquering our temptations using the same method Jesus used during his forty days in the desert preparing for public life. Oscar (Scotty) Guerrero, Sr., departed his earthly home to join the Lord on January 23, 2018. He was born in Talofofo, Guam on December 24, 1950 to the late Jesus and Maria Guerrero. He graduated George Washington High School in 1969, enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country for 23 years.
